Perfusion Concepts, Inc. specializes in perfusion services. Perfusion is the process of delivering nutritive, arterial blood to the body’s organs and tissues. Perfusionists provide life support via blood circulation and oxygenation to cardiac surgery patients connected to a heart-lung machine. This intimate work with blood includes our expertise in autologous blood therapies and blood conservation.
Nava has more than 21 years of experience as a perfusionist. She graduated cum laude from the State University of New York Health Science Center in Syracuse with a degree in Extracorporeal Technology. She also has a B.A. in Kinesiology from the University of Washington. Nava has been certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion since 1992.

Nava graduated from the University of Washington School Of Nursing. Her clinical background includes critical care nursing (cardiac surgery), trauma and aesthetic medicine. She has more than 10 years experience as a clinical nurse specialist for medical device companies. Her experience includes work as a product manager for an autotransfusion company specializing in platelet gel.

Ratto is a perfusionist who graduated from Northeastern University’s perfusion program. Her nursing degree is from Molloy College. She has more than 21 years of perfusion experience and has been certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion since 1992.

Lee holds a BS in Animal Science and Neurophysiology from the University of California San Diego. Lee is currently in her third year of veterinary school at Kansas State University. She is an autologous blood and stem cell therapist.
Ku holds a BS in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology from the University of California San Diego. Ku's future plans include veterinary school. She is an autologous blood and stem cell therapist.
Rodriguez is a veterinary technician with an AS in Animal Health Technology from San Diego Mesa College. Her future studies include preparation for nursing school. She is an autologous blood and stem cell therapist.
Chanthavisouk holds a BS in General Biology from the University of California San Diego. His future plans include veterinary school. He is an autologous blood and stem cell therapist.
Rymoff holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from Salisbury University-Maryland and an AS in Animal Health Technology from San Diego Mesa College. She is an autologous blood and stem cell therapist.
