<p class="mainbodyAbs">Perfusion Concepts, Inc. specializes in perfusion services. Perfusion is the process of delivering nutritive, arterial blood to the body’s organs and tissues. Perfusionists provide life support via blood circulation and oxygenation to cardiac surgery patients connected to a heart-lung machine. This intimate work with blood includes our expertise in autologous blood therapies and blood conservation.</p>

Nava has more than 21 years of experience as a perfusionist. She graduated cum laude from the State University of New York Health Science Center in Syracuse with a degree in Extracorporeal Technology. She also has a B.A. in Kinesiology from the University of Washington. Nava has been certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion since 1992.</p>

Nava graduated from the University of Washington School Of Nursing. Her clinical background includes critical care nursing (cardiac surgery), trauma and aesthetic medicine. She has more than 10 years experience as a clinical nurse specialist for medical device companies. Her experience includes work as a product manager for an autotransfusion company specializing in platelet gel.</p>

Ratto is a perfusionist who graduated from Northeastern University’s perfusion program. Her nursing degree is from Molloy College. She has more than 21 years of perfusion experience and has been certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion since 1992.</p>
